second day into the sem 2

i didn't go to school today because i overslept

and went for ikea's chicken wings and meatball after

first stop: baking session at dee dee's house

met them at compass point to get the ingredients

we were like aunties looking for the cheapest goods

okay sidetrack a little

i need to include my two freaky pest incidents

on boxing day:

i was on the train

when i felt something on my hand

i turned and FREAKED OUT

there was a small cockroach

so instinct

i swept (smart)

the next thing i knew

it was on my bag

and it crept in

oh HELP!

held my bag as far away from myself as i could without looking weird

finally met my friends at some yongtaufoo store in lucky plaza

and threw my bag on the floor

mel poured everything out

and it came crawling out

the auntie came over and exclaimed (in chinese)

"aiyo!you brought xiaoqiang ah!"

hell it was embarassing

on new year's eve:

met sheenzee and deedee at compass pt foodcourt

deedee wanted to had soup and i wanted dumplings

so we went to get dumpling soup

jez and zhen came along

while deedee was ready to get the dumpling soup

jez screamed

we all looked down and FREAKED OUT

there was a rat.RAT!

we stepped back far far away

no one bothered to do anything

all stared

the rat ran away

we grab our dumpling soup

went back to our table

ate with our legs up

and we ran away

alrite back

went to deedee's hse after we got everything

took some time to settle down and took out what we need

sheenzee got on with preparing dinner

and the rest of us started with preparing the dough for the cookies

followed by the grinding of mcvities for base of cheesecake

to preparing the cream cheese for cheesecake

all was fun(:

took a break for yummy dinner

we love the garlic bread!

after dinner we continued with what we were doing

when kash (deedee's humpy dog) came to disturbed

i love dogs but no-no-NO HUMPING!

totally freak zhen and i out when he erm.got really "high"

and dearest sheenzee video-ed the whole thing instead of saving us

and deedee only came to our rescue after the most hilarious part (according to them)

after the episode

we heat up the oven

got the cheesecake into the tray and started baking

sheenzee went back to get her raspberry vodka

and we COUNTDOWN-ED!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!(:

decided to continue with the cookies while waiting

and we watched goong(the sweetest parts) while moulding the cookies

its baking time!

our yummy dinner(: (garlic bread wasn't out yet)

the second cheesecake came out of the oven
and i decided to deliver it to mal's
thinking and promising that i will be back
i left my bag at deedee's
and cab-bed down

second stop: mal's house
it was great see-ing everyone
surprisingly no one got drunk
gerald got high as usual.funny
for awhile
and we just chilled
some went into a state of sleeping and waking up once in awhile
decided to take out the chilled cheesecake
and it was DELICIOUSLY CREAMISH!

decided to take the first bus back
save moolah
deedee called and said they were tired
meet me at compass for breakfast
but macs wasn't 24hrs there
so they decided to leave for home
she said something so seriously
i swear i was so taken aback
"eh yanns.im going to leave your back with the 7-11 uncle.don't worry.hes very nice.you just collect it from him when you're here.okay?"

conclusion is i have to go all the way back to deedee's to get my bag
mal's place is only 10 mins from mine
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

finally reached compass on a super long 156 ride
thankfully shenwei gathered everyone to take 156.somehow
and thankfully annaBELLA and herngs accompanied me all the way
but i stupidly took the lrt in the totally wrong direction
i tell you i could faint
i was like a drifting soul

was sooo glad to have reached home(:

first things first: xperience pharmacy camp '07

it was much much more fun than i thought

all the guessing and worries before the camp was so uncalled for (:

before the camp..

i thought:why would any kid in the right mind want to come for this camp during the hols?i don't want a whole bunch of geeky un-fun kids ): i don't want!!! can i back out?no you can't

and we had to make a card with our group number and name on it

so i made one and showed cheryl my dearest fellow ogl

me: well.its the least i can do for the group.i think

cheryl: HAHAHHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHH! (people who know cheryl know how hard she can laugh.heh)

but..

we were soooooo wrong

group 2(omeprazole) is the best group you can ever get

all was good fun(:

good company: my lovely grandpa and granny,uncle and his family, two cousins, and my very own family

good food(most of the time): love the shabu-shabu, bbq-ing indoors, tall ice-cream, beef noodles, BIG shilin chicken cutlet, fried oyster(which i so want to ta-pao back to singapore), white bittergourd juice, papaya milk, pearl milk tea, ah-zhong mian xian, mango ice and many many many more. i tell you i can migrate there for the food :D

good experience: i was tricked into taking a crazy roller-coaster ride which "ONLY last for 2 mins'-quote my cousin. i came out tearing uncontrollably but laughing non-stop. oh and i tried smelly toufu too :/

well.the week after coming back was packed

first.there is the slumber party to celebrate gy's and emi's birthday. im really glad i made it back just in time for it.its been a really really long time since we spent the night together(: its so much fun squeezing on the bed in our pyjamas. catching up. munching endlessly on junk food. watching tv and playing many many rounds of polar bear.. till we fell asleep

then.there was steamboat and gift exchange at my place with my extended family on christmas eve.even though its just a very simple dinner instead of a big and noisy countdown party. the overloaded food made me feel blessed and the gift exchange made me feel loved. with such a close-knitted and happy family. what more can i ask for. contentment(:

christmas day was dinner at zong's place. he has a hidden toilet that leads to narnia.heh

boxing day was happily spent with my dearest girls(: i miss them so much when i was in taiwan. all the meet-at-least-once-a-week. esp with love. have got us so close. esp when we're so like-minded. yay we've all become quitters of GAP! jez come on its your turn!

before i left house that day, someone told me "no one wishes someone happy boxing day". says who! we were all wishing each other happy boxing day! not planned okay! and of cos i was happy(: love all the gifts i've got. and this time. we decided to go to timbre to do our favourite thing--"chew". live music and nice ambience. it was a great night spent (:
